Question of the Day: Are you in the same place you were are at this time last year? Are you satisfied with your progression if you progressed?
Progression is like a first place prize in life. People feel accomplished even if they only change one thing in their life along the course of a whole year. As long as a person isn’t in the same place as they were the previous year they are satisfied.Ā What are you doing to make sure you life is progressing and not being set back? How’s that New year’s resolution coming along..or is it even coming along.
This time last year I was a senior in college. Working two jobs, trying to make ends meet and doing what I had to do to get finished with school. I wasn’t the happiest or the proudest. I’m definitely not where I was last year. I now have my degree and a job working in my field, and I am happier. I feel like I have accomplished a lot more than most of my peers even at this age and that is what drives me to keep going. To keep fighting against the odds. I am also more in tough with God. I am not that religious but I make sure I thank God and talk to God every day. I am definitely in a better place and things can only get better.
I am definitely not in the same place as I was a year ago. Last year around this time I was working at Walmart barely making it. Had to cut my schedule short so I could continue with school, thus meaning even less money. I was also going through a lot of unnecessary family issues. This year I graduated, I started working in my degree field immediately after graduation & i’ve cut out all the drama. But my proudest accomplishment was losing 50lbs. Graduation is number 1 too lol but finally starting to feel comfortable with ME is an even greater feeling. I’m praying for continuous progression & an awesome next year š
I’m proud of you! š
