Say it isn’t so! February 6th was the revealing of  a brutal truth,  NBC’s “Tonight Show” host, Jay Leno would be leaving the show. Is this truly an end to Leno’s reign as a talk show host?  If you can recall a while back when Leno left the show only to return shortly after that. Jay Leno is the second longest host to be on the ” Tonight Show” alongside Johnny Carson who had a 30 year reign on the show. Leno began hosting in 1992, left in 2009 only to return a year later. He will be passing the show torch to Jimmy Fallon and he will be taking over the show as of February 17th.
