Being on social media has its pros and it has many cons. A lot of us use social media to be ourselves and to show others that we aren’t just robotic products of the universe while other people use social media for business and professional connections. Either way, I’m pretty sure we have all slipped up when it comes to social media etiquette.
In recent news, a few incoming freshman of Harvard University found themselves in deep shit when school administrators stumbled upon their Facebook chat group. They discovered that the students were sharing explicit memes that promoted and made humor of sexual assault, different racial groups, deaths of children, and more. This resulted in their removal from the college.
