This morning I woke up to do my daily twitter reads and came across this. I won’t say much but I want to know how you feel about this statement. If he is making a valid point or do you feel as though he is making a huge but absurd statement by encouraging people to drop out of school.

i tink Jaden is very right, dey are really brainwashing d students, d world will be a beta place without education
Uh no, he’s not right. Where do you think we’d get engineers or doctors for stuff? I’m a mechanical engineer. YOU CANNOT SELF TEACH YOURSELF THAT and expect to be taken seriously.
I disagree fully with his statement, the below comments make the arguement or the intelligent aspects of what jaden attempted to state. Rather hard to say something as intelligent or viable through twitter, i know i tried, but in his situation i can understand wNting to drop out of school. Technically he has achieved more than most by the age of 30 and i beleive hes still in high school, is it a smart move, yes if he intends to continue his education with a different medium than a formal education, dont forget that the founding fathers were taught by orivate tutors not public or private school as we know it
I slightly agree & then I don’t. The way school is set up especially the lower grades is backwards & you retain very little. And urban schools are a whole other story. I’m hoping that was his logic behind that statement. But like the person above, how will we have doctors or engineers or mechanics? I think on a certain level school is almost a waste of time just to get a piece of paper that employers think entitles you to a position but on the other hand, some people do learn from those intuitions & go on to be great doctors or psychologist or the one who finds a cure for aids. I will say though that school needs a life class 101 because they definitely do not prepare you for everyday life like managing a house or car payments, or even filing taxes. I’m a college graduate & I must say the majority of my classes were either completely unnecessary or taught me everything I do know. I honestly believe that school is a place for certain individuals but America has to go back & rethink the way school & classes are structured, especially elementary & high school. Everything is more about a deadline & a paper you must right not about if you are actually learning and retaining the information.
