This past Saturday, I attended the Taste of Three Cities Food Truck Festival in Patterson Park. The festival featured over 40 food trucks from Maryland, DC, and Philadelphia. It was a ticketed event. The tickets were $15 online through Eventbrite and Groupon, and $20 at the gate. Festival goers were given the opportunity to experience a plethora of different foods and were encouraged to vote for their favorite truck. The trucks were competing for the Mayors Cup. At the festival, there was a Family Fun Zone with a bounce house and balloon animals. There was live music from artists such as Bond Street District. There were performance artists including swing dancers, belly dancers, and break dancers. There were stands selling art, clothing, natural hair products, etc. You could even ride in a helicopter for $40.

Although my stomach (and my pockets) couldn’t handle tasting food from every truck, I was able to get Crabby Fries from Crusin Cafe, Watermelon Lemonade from Deddles Mini Donuts, and Bulgogi (Korean beef) from KBBQBox.
