Sherae Davis was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1989. She received an Associate of Arts degree in 2010 and an Associate of Fine Arts degree in 2012 from the Community College of Baltimore County. Sherae has been in group exhibitions at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). She has been placed on the “Dean’s List” at MICA every semester since transferring to the school in 2013, and in 2014 she received a Drawing Departmental Achievement Award. In 2015, she graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drawing with honors, Cum Laude. Sherae post-undergraduate work in 2017 reflects her “Culture Understandings.” She strives to use her creative process of art making to improve the emotional, physical, and mental qualities of individual lives. Sherae lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland with her beautiful little girl Aniyah.
