[Photos] Baltimore Beat Club's Two-Year Anniversary Fest Conquers Station North
This past weekend, I was honored to be able to attend a remarkable event. On Saturday, the Lineup Room Recording Studio, run by Brandon lackey, celebrated the two-year anniversary of the Bmore BeatClub. Bmore BeatClub is a hip-hop event whose purpose is to build stronger relationships between the artists and the producers. The event brings out a plethora of local artists and producers who have no problem with displaying their talent. I know there are others like myself who appreciated the festival because we have not been able to attend Bmore BeatClub regularly, or at all. This event occurs every second Thursday of the month at Maryland Art Place located in Downtown Baltimore. Bmore BeatClub has been featured and mentioned in this year’s Artscape Festival, The Baltimore Sun, and What Weekly
The event brought some familiar artists and some that were not-so-familiar. It was a great experience. Despite the fact that I am not an artist, I still took criticism from the audience as well. Many local artists and producers signed up to display their talent. The artists who occupied the stage came with their best bars and delivered. The producers did exceedingly well at providing beats with the proper flow for different lyrical styles.
The winner went home with an EP Record deal, 100 CDs, P.R. services, and a music video. Not bad at all. The party did not end there as the crowd was instructed to meet at The Crown for the after party.
You can keep up with Lineup Room here or check them out on Instagram @lineuproomstudio and remember to come out every second Thursday of the month to experience the great, Bmore BeatClub!
