Question of the day: Is being the “side chick” the new thing for females of our current generation? Does television add to this crazy phenomenon?

This is a situation I don’t find cute or classy for women but, some women find it completely normal to be someone’s second choice. Sometimes you can’t blame the side chick because they simply may not even know! The ones that do know sit on the sideline with no shame. So what makes this ok? We make it ok, television makes it a normal life logic. Tell me what you think!

  1. Uhm of course, “Reality TV”(ironic title lol) hass just become a tool to brainwash our young into certain mindsets. When’s the last time you heard a kid saying “Ooh mama! turn to the Discovery Channel!! They teaching us something about nature!”? Never? Okay that’s because they’ve become used to Basketball Wives, Jerry Springer, Maury, Real Housewives, Love and hip hop(Should just be called Rap & Sex). So fake, all of this bs. It just gives young black girls a reason to become gold diggers, exploit their bodies, and not practice abstinence. Same goes for men. The message is to not respect women, be materialistic and try to act like something you are not. If K Michelle is your “Role Model”, you’re doomed lol. Robots.

  2. Btw why is the show called basketball wives, when everyone of those hoes have already been exposed as jumpoffs, gold diggers, and ex “girlfriends”? lmao that’s why I only watch educational programs. you can learn alot of shit from vh1 but don’t let them influence your mind in the wrong way. (dun dun dun!!!!!)
